Batting:  We have batting available for purchase or you can provide your own.  We carry Dream Poly, Dream Cotton, Hobbs 80/20, Warm & Natural, etc.  Your batting should be at least 6-8 inches longer and wider than your top.

Borders:  Wavy borders can cause tucks on your top or on your back.  Before adding borders, measure across the top, center and bottom of quilt.  Add these measurements together and divide by three.  This is the size to cut your top and bottom borders.  Fold your border in quarters and mark with pins.  Fold your quilt in quarters and mark with pins.  Sew together from pin to pin.  Press.  Now measure for the side borders and do the same way.

Backing:  Will need to be at least 6”-8” wider and longer than your quilt top.  You will have a compromised product if you use a sheet or batiks as they are more densely woven.

Thread:  There will be a thread charge at $6.00 per quilt.  Changes of color will be $6.00 each color..

Binding:  There is a minimum $40 price for machine binding.  The charge is between .12 to .24 per inch for bindings, applied to top or complete by machine.   If we need to cut and iron your binding, it will be an additional $20 charge.  Binding should be 2 ½ inches. (To find the final charge, add the width plus the width to the length plus the length and times it by .12 for application to the top and .24 for complete)
