Scrap Bag with Pin Cushion

Supplies  

     2 Fat Quarters, one for outside of bag and one for lining or ¼ yard each 

        of fabric for outside of bag and lining if using directional fabric

     *Cotton batting      

      Matching thread

      Hand sewing needle

 Pins

2     5 inch squares of card stock weight cardboard or card stock

      Optional 4 inch square piece of rubber drawer lining or rubber gripper       fabric

Cutting Instructions

•      6 inch  squares of main fabric (outside) for base

1          18 x 9 inch rectangle of main (outside) fabric

1        18 x 8 inch rectangle of lining fabric      

1        5 x 8 inch rectangle piece of lining fabric for pin cushion    

     1        2 ½ x 7 inch rectangle for tabs

*1        18 x 9 inch of cotton batting

KIT PROVIDED INCLUDES THESE ITEMS

1 tile for base

1 sand filled base for pin cushion
